This week, Zuckerberge Meta is launched Instagram Threads, the rival to Twitter. Threads was launched today, July 6th, according to their App Store listing. A similar listing has been published in the Google Play store, which was introduced over the weekend.

Threads will be like the Twitter version of Instagram, where users will be able to discuss different topics and still be able to engage on trending topics, reshare, like, and comment. Also users will be able to follow each other and connect directly with their favourite creators.

For users, the Instagram Threads feature is intended to allow them to interact with their nearest followers privately on the photo sharing site.

This app synchronizes with Instagram's primary platform, providing a wide range of functionalities such as updating status updates, automatically sharing insta photos, camera focus interface, and enhanced privacy settings.

The aim of the Threads project is to enhance communication and build close relationships among users within their personal circles in order to foster a feeling of connection between they and the Instagram community.
